Germany is ok but maybe not enough

Posted by Pedro.Eurovisionontop on May 7, 2016 at 3:20 AM Comments comments (0)

It's saturday morning and Germany is the third of the bif 5 havin their rehearsal. Jamie Lee is not a favorite, not an underdog and not unnoticed. How could she with that outfit.

But will the japonese manga style work at eurovision and on the stage?

That's how it looks like: again the dead trees from the german national final, for sure the manga outfit, green laser lights, four background singers a moon landscape atmosphere and a walk to the satelitte stage... that's it.

The first reaction in the press center was a loud applaus, but there have been a lot of german press.

Our review is that it could be ok, but maybe not enough.

3. UK - did they decided right?

4. Norway - Agneta this time from the neighbour?

1. Ukraine - a political song?

After leaving the contest for a year Ukraine is returning 2016. The country which has internal civil war problems brings a songs to the contest which already brought some discussions about political messages. This still isn't allowed at the song contest.

Anyhow Jamala already has the attention and some publicity for her song, beside the screams which will make the audience for sure remember the song "1944"

2. Germany - manga style made in Germany?

Perhaps you remember the scandal this year at the german internal selection. There was Xavier Naidoo selected and in due to a lot of negative response of german medias the broadcaster NDR had to prepare a last minute national final.

As kindly usual there were also "The Voice" participants, in this case the winner of the 2015 edition. At the end Jamie-Lee, who looks like a Manga made in Germany won the national final which celebrated the best audience since 2010! The year Germany won the contest for the last time. And like Lena Jamie-Lee is from Hannover too.

If Jamie will repeat that will be seen.

3. UK - did they decided right?

The last years haven't been successful for the united kingdom, it wasn't possible to united a lot of points, either with former world stars or boy bands.

This year BBS wanted to change everything and made a new show "You decide" and asked again the BBC audience to choose. How ever the result at the end BBC "you are not alone" with the choice.

4. Norway - Agneta this time from the neighbour?

It was Agneta together with three others winning Eurovision and starting a world career. But it was for the neighbour country Sweden. This year Agenta from Norway will travel to the same neighbour Sweden and try to be the first Agneta from Norway winning the contest for Norway.

If it will be the "Icebreaker" to get all the points from all over Europe will be seen too.

5. Slovenia - Country rock from a country who rocks?

"Blue and red" are parts of the slovenian flag which ManuElla will bring to Stockholm and fight for. Only white is missing. But for sure that she will do everything not to have a white 0 on the score board at the end.

The song is a country rock mix and will be a special slovenian song for sure. If it will be a song to repeat the ticket for the final for the third year in a row will be seen.

6. Finland - sing away all points?

7. Hungary - Will they be hungry for the victory?

Freddie for sure is no "Pioneer" trying to bring the contest to Budapest. But it's his song, which won the national final and it is Freddie trying to make happen what Hungary is hungry about since a lot of years.

8. Moldova - Falling stars or points?

Will it be "falling stars" at the end or will falling points to the score board for Moldova. It is once more year where the small country tries to send the right song to get the chance to dream of a victory. This year it is Lidia Isac being able to make a country dream about it.
