Now that some of the National finals kicked off, rumours are growing. In the middle of an economical crisis with the European coin in the principal role, some countries did not decided yet if they are going to participate in ESC. We are talking about Greece, Portugal and France. Even last rumours talked about Portugal helding a National Final, nothing is certain since the Government of Lusitana Paixão wants to privatize the national television. Last rumours also say that Greece will enter the competition. Amazing is the intention of Ireland that wants to send the Jedwards again to Eurovision. Because of security reasons, the participation of Armenia is not guaranteed and Slovakia will decide later, but probably they will withdraw. Azerbaijan, the host country, has been in the spot because of the organization, security and the venue, but everyhting seems to be ok now and its now guaranteed that ESC 2012 will be held in Baku! Confirmed countries are: Germany, Spain, UK, Ukraine, Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovenia, Serbia, San Marino, Romania, Norway, Netherlands, Moldova, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Hungary, Georgia, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Belarus, Austria and Albania. 33 in total!
If Italy continue in the contest the song will probably be choosen by San Remo. We are still waiting for the decisions of Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia and Macedonia. Andorra and Monaco wont comeback and probably Morocco also even in an interview with the French delegation it was revealed that Morocco were "likely to return" to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Ivi Adamou has been chosen internally by Cyprus national television to represent Cyprus. Rumours will still appearing everyday and they will grown up when we will get to know the first artists for National Finals like in Switzerland where we were all happilly surprised by Lys Assia. It would be very nice to see the first winner of Eurovision again on stage, but this time with "C'etait ma vie".

Peter (known as DQ) and Christos Mylordou will participate in a new event called Song Invasion in which several artists from different countries produced the same song in different languages and release it on the same date! The first edition ncludes 6 artists from 5 countries singing the song "High" (Estonia, Cyprus, Germany, Poland and Denmark) . All versions of the dance-song „High“ by the participating artists are distributed through the major digital download retailers such as Amazon, iTunes, Musicload, Napster etc. since July 23rd 2011. According with the organization, it is an advantageous way to produce new songs to hit the charts, especially for artists who don‘t write songs on their own, more benefits includes cross-promotion of the individual artists, a centralized and joint website www.songinvasion.com If an artist has a hit in his country or market, all participating artists will have a hit.
