Some days after this news the national broadcaster did an internal selection and announced the artist and song for this year.
It brings back some greek sounds and words to the contest. "Oneiro Mou" is the song and Gianni Terzi is the artist, who will fight for a final ticket in Lisbon.
The translation of the song title is "my dream", we will see if the particiaption at the final will just be a dream or turn into reality.

Out of 382 submitted songs the national broadcaster and a expert jury selected Eye cue.
Eye cue is one of the best bands in the country, which started out in 2008.
The title of the song is "Lost & Found" - kind of a descprition of the participations of Macedonia in the last years... kind of lost in the competition, but maybe this year they found the best for a victory.
The song is not known yet and we will update you as soon as we know something.

The raising star is the show format Israel selected in the last years to find the representative for Eurovision.
In the last years it seemed to work out. A lot of participations in the grand final and some good results. Just last year IMRI didn't do so well.
This year Israel sends a talented young lady which doesn't fit into the format of former artists and that seems to be the interesting part of the story this year.
The song is not known yet and eurovision on top will like always update you as soon as the song is out.

"My dream is to travel all over the world and play everywhere."
The return of Salvador Sobral on the public channel last night, interviewed in prime time, was one of the most watched moments of the day.
After winning the Eurovision Song Contest and after the transplant to which he was subjected, we were able to see a calm artist, friendly as always and with the same will to live.
"I think it was the most odd year anyone could imagine," said Salvador Sobral during the interview. "I won the biggest European pop contest and the whole country got to know me. A few months later I went into a hospital room for four months and had a heart transplant. "
If he felt afraid? "It would be an ice stone if you did not." More than a person, the surgery influenced him physically: "My voice is a bit fragile right now, but I think it's going to go back to what it was."
About the future, the artist returns to the stages on the islands (Azores) and in June he will make a tour in Spain. Salvador announced that he is already preparing a new album and that he invited writers that he admire such as Miguel Esteves Cardoso or Gonçalo M. Tavares and some musicians like Mário Laginha and Samuel Úria. To this last one he said, "Samuel, if you're listening to me, please make up that shit," in his usual style. It was also announced that Salvador will be on the stage of ESC 2018 next May in Lisbon.
