Paul Harrington (piano and voice) and Charlie McGettigan (guitar and voice) was the first male duo to win Eurovision. Besides that feat “Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids” was the first song to get over 200 points in the contest’s history and Harrington and McGettigan also managed for the first time ever (and so far only) a third victory in a row for a certain country.
After Eurovision the Irish duo has never recorded together again. “Grown Old with Me” is the most recent EP by Harrington (October, 2013) and “When I was a Kid” is the latest McGettigan’s offering.
Next Monday, April 7th, they will celebrate the 20th anniversary on their victory with a live concert at Sugar Club.
In addition to music there will be conversation and special guests.
