OGAE Portugal: A meeting with Cláudia and Isaura

Posted by Eurovision On Top on April 28, 2018 at 7:55 PM

The already traditional pre-eurovision of Portuguese artists with OGAE Portugal fans finished some hours ago. The place was special because it was the Eurocaffé that will open within a week.

In this meeting, in addition to viewing the videos of competing songs, the singers Cláudia Pascoal and Isaura were able to answer the questions of the fans.

Isaura showed her surprise to the world of Eurovision that she did not know and that is great. Participating in Eurovision in Portugal will be a moment they will never forget. The experience is being wonderful and added that they still do not have  idea of what it will be.

By other hand, Claudia does not feel the responsibility of winning and thanks the Sobral brothers for having won and for allowing this to the Portuguese. She's feeling an incredible support and she noticed it also in Madrid. There, they met some of the artists and they both felt a good vibe from all the artists.

About the performance in ESC, Isaura revealed that they are still thinking about how the performance will be and that there may be some surprise. They said choosing clothes has been a horror (humorous) because they love fashion but have very different styles. In this regard, the concern with the clothing for Eurovision has been very different with the national final. If in the pre-selection they wanted to show a little of them, now they have to show that to 200 million.

Someone asked Claudia what the color of her hair would be, and she again, with all her sympathy, joked that it would be her hair to say. But still said, "I would like to see the whole audience of the Altice Arena with pink wigs. That would be a biggest surprise and hahappiness!"

A Dutch journalist questioned why Isaura was turned away. With great sincerity and without complexes, Isaura said that the studio where they performed for the first time was very small and did not want to be taking protagonism to their partner since she only sang in the middle of the song. It just happened!

Both Claudia and Isaura proved to be very accessible people, simple and friendly! They will be Eurovision's ambassadors this year and are already a national pride!

In the end, the members of the OGAE were able to give their vote in which the twelve points went to France, ten to Israel and eight to Spain!

The party continued until shortly on the Eurocaffé with DJ Nuno Eira.
