The Eurovision Song Contest slogan was revealed yesterday in Tel Aviv. Dare to Dream will be the main theme of the upcoming contest to be held for the first time in Tel Aviv following the 4th israeli victory last year in Lisbon.
The slogan idea represents the main agenda that Netta promoted. Seek for your goal no matter what other people think and believe in yourself. As requires, the slogan represents the state of Israel as well. About 120 years ago the Zionist movement started and its dream was to establish a Jewish state in the historical land...and they did it 70 years ago.
Despite difficulties and yet to achieve long-lasting peace with neighbors, Israel is strong and prosperous. Israel is extremely excited to host more than 40 countries and to show the world a different perspective. The israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also commented and expressed his own private dream - to keep ESC on it's "homeland" and have a second consecutive victory as happened back in 1978 with Abanibi and the following year in Jerusalem with Hallelujah.
The first semifinal of the contest will be on the 14th of May and the final 4 days later.
