It is to soon for trying to preview who will be the winner on this years Contest. Normally, days before the final we can see how the taste of the audience is behaving according to the charts. And since we do it we guessed the first three places!
Right now, Spotify and iTunes are considering the ESC songs in a shy way but we can find some surprises. Today, at 18:21!
The songs from Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Iceland, Armenia, Italy, Denmark, Norway, UK and France can be considered local hits, some in a very subtile style, since they are in the considered charts but most of them not in a very high position.
Songs that begin to break borders
The song from Cyprus is now starting to be played in Spain, Greece and Cyprus. Its is not a surprise that Tamta will get lots of points from Spain considering the success of Eleni Foureira last year in the iberian country. The swedish song was already a success in Sweden and its now awakening in Iceland. The song from Switzerland its moving bodies in the tiny Alpine country and also in Belgium. Australia is now getting popular in the continent and also in Israel.
The songs that have passed the boundaries
There are three songs that very surprisingly already begin to be a hit in several countries beyond yours:
Arcade is clearly a hit in The Netherlands (#2 iTunes; #6 Spotify; #5 Youtube; #8 Apple Music) but it is also #186 in Spain iTunes. In Apple Music it is #149 in Malta; #163 in Greece; #186 in Cyprus.
Malta is of course in the Spotify list of Malta (#37) and in Apple Music (#15), but in youtube it is a hit in Estonia (#4), North Macedonia (#10), Cyprus (#13) and Latvia (#17). It is also #2 in youtube Malta!
