On February 20, 2015, Inês Santos (Portugal, 1998, as the lead singer of Alma Lusa) launched a new form of crowdfunding to help her to record her brand new album.
According to the artist herself the album will be in Portuguese and she already has the songs, the concept, the musicians but she needs to pay the studio, sound engineer, producer, mastering, etc, which gives a total value of approximately 10 000 euros.
Inês Santos is asking for this direct crowdfunding (without intermediaries) 1 (one) euro for each donation and this and this initiative has been promoted on several tv shows where Ines is invited to perform.
The ultimate goal of the album is to celebrate the two decades of Ines Santos professional career which started in 1995 when she won the second Portuguese edition of "Chuva de Estrelas" imitating Sinéad O´Connor.
As of 5 April 2015, 6 000 euros have been raised. For any more information or if you want to collaborate, please check out Inês Santos official Facebook.
